Age verification for purchasing from Silversmoke

Our products can only be purchased and shipped to people over the age of 18, in line with current UK legislation. We are required to verify the age of all new customers.

Why do you need to verify my age

We understand this process can feel inconvenient, and you may be cautious about sharing personal information. However, these laws exist to protect those below the legal minimum age. The following bodies are responsible for enforcing these rules in the UK:

Trading Standards

All retailers are legally responsible for ensuring that age-restricted products are not sold online to individuals under the legal age.

To comply with UK age-restriction laws, Silversmoke must verify that all customers purchasing vape products are 18 or over.
At checkout, you’ll see a field labelled “Photo ID Verification – Upload Your Photo ID (Passport / Driving Licence / BRP)”. This is a secure step that allows us to quickly confirm your age before your order is processed.

We only accept official government-issued identification, such as:

• Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)
